27. The Wilderness Inn: Chalets

The Wilderness Inn Chalets offer some of the best cabin rentals near Wilmington, which is also located near both the Whiteface Lodge and Adirondack Spruce Lodge. They are in a wooded lot, similar to a campground.

But these chalets are a step up from tent camping. Each chalet has a living area with a sofa and flat-screen TV. There is also a kitchen and a private bathroom with a shower. The location also has its own restaurant and bar, which makes going out just as good as staying in. 

Keep in mind that Flume Falls is just a few miles south of the Chalets, which is an excellent spot for a photo and brief adventure.

Extensive porches set this home over the top, as well as the live-edge wooden kitchen island. The master bath also has a jacuzzi tub and vessel sinks, making this cedar room feel like your own personal spa.
